Web application hackers handbook book review

Do not let the title of this article lead you into believing that I’m promoting hacking. In fact quite to the contrary the book provides are good overview of how web site are hacked into and how to prevent attacks. It is a technical book explaining all the typical techniques being used today by hackers wanting access to confidential information. The book was an eye opener for me and changed my thinking about improving the security aspect of web site development. Now computer security is a broad field of study and I like the fact that the Web application hackers handbook concentrates on web site development security. The book is generic enough to be studied regardless of server side technologies being used and give it a score of:
WWW, Web, hacking, HTTP , XSS, Session, encryption
